- Lead cross-functional collaboration and build relationships across the organization through coordination with other process, equipment, mechanical, electrical and support disciplines including project managers, manufacturing reps, and other stakeholders
- Lead product design for manufacturability (DFM) and sustainability, including analysis of product design and identification of potential risks to the process and steering product design to the lowest overall cost (BOM cost + manufacturing cost)
- Documentation of product requirements for process and equipment specification
- Development of advanced processing technologies and equipment from concept to serial production
- Detailed line design based on process requirements, throughput and OEE calculations
- Lead process qualification, including development of acceptance testing criteria and verifying process/equipment meets requirements using statistical tools (such as GR&R, SPC and Cp/Cpk)
- Management of large-scale projects for new programs, including the development of timing plans and cost breakdowns for executive approval, identification of risks to project timing driving corrective action, reporting of project status to executive team, and oversight of installation and commissioning of new manufacturing lines
- BS in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Chemical preferred, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years related experience in a technology-based industry, where automated methods are utilized in the finishing/coating of consumer products
- Experience working with or developing functional/aesthetic finishing processes, including but not limited to automotive paint, Powder Coatings, or pre-treatment/electro-deposition coatings
- Experience with developing, installing, and commissioning high-volume process equipment and Automation systems, including but not limited to conveyors, robotics, e-coat equipment, or paint/powder equipment
