Key Responsibilities:
Receiving Operations:
- Supervise the receipt and unloading of incoming shipments.
- Verify the quantity and quality of received goods.
- Ensure all items are accurately documented, labeled, and properly stored.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee the organization and storage of products within the warehouse.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the warehouse manager to optimize space utilization.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of Warehouse Receiving staff.
- Assign tasks and provide guidance on best practices.
- Maintain a positive and safe working environment.
Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify damaged or expired items.
- Take corrective actions as needed and report issues to management.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all received shipments and inventory.
- Generate reports and communicate inventory status to relevant departments.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols.
- Identify and address safety concerns promptly.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or related field is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience in Warehouse Receiving and supervision.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
