Warehouse Receiving Supervisor

Receiving Operations:

• Supervise the receipt and unloading of incoming shipments.
• Verify the quantity and quality of received goods.
• Ensure all items are accurately documented, labeled, and properly stored.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the organization and storage of products within the warehouse.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the warehouse manager to optimize space utilization.

Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of Warehouse Receiving staff.
• Assign tasks and provide guidance on best practices.
• Maintain a positive and safe working environment.

Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify damaged or expired items.
• Take corrective actions as needed and report issues to management.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of all received shipments and inventory.
• Generate reports and communicate inventory status to relevant departments.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols.
• Identify and address safety concerns promptly.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or related field is a plus.

Experience:

• Proven experience in Warehouse Receiving and supervision.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
