Summary:
This Senior Level Logistics / Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a high-volume, multi-location, supply chain logistics operation to ensure consistent high-level service quality and customer satisfaction, profitability, cost-efficient operations, compliance with Company policies and procedures, and other government regulatory guidelines. The General Manager is also responsible for leading, delegating responsibilities, and assigning duties to Logistics Regional Managers and Logistics Managers to achieve efficient and economical storage, handling of products, and distribution functions conforming to established goals to accomplish corporate profit and growth.

Essential Job Functions:
· Provide supervision, development, and growth of the Deputy General Manager (DGM) and Regional Logistics Managers (RLM).
· Control of operating costs and inventory shrinkage
· Continuous improvement of logistics operation with a focus on improving customer service while keeping costs in line with Company guidelines
· Maintain good labor relations
· Preparation and managing logistics operating budgets and P&L statements.
· Establish logistics policies and set standards governing the movement of products.
· Ensuring that the logistics team effectively schedules labor to produce both efficient and responsive support to Operation Headquarters
· Identify short to long-term strategic needs of the organization and execute implementation plans.
· Responsible for logistics operations in terms of business planning, work stoppages, and risk management.
· Ensure all facilities are clean, safe, and orderly work environments. Develop and administer safety incentive programs to motivate employees. Control worker's compensation costs through proactive case management.
· Responsible for the supervision of direct management reports as well as employees. Demonstrate a high degree of leadership, initiative, and integrity to cultivate and develop subordinate staff. Promote the training and development of support staff for employee improvement and advancement. Create an atmosphere where employees and management strive for the joint team goal.
· Responsible for chairing various round table discussions to educate employees, solicit employee feedback, resolve conflicts, foster open communication, and promote employee involvement in the decision-making process. Involve employees in the process of change and improvement.
· A thorough understanding of work regulations and rules as required by FDA, OHSA, DOT, etc.
· Continually reassess the organizational structure, skills, and capabilities to maximize strengths.
· Establish and monitor cost control programs, including annual budget development, monthly P&L review, payroll, and cost analysis. Through the use of Performance Management projects, guide managerial staff to monitor and control costs every week.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
· Knowledge in math and financial acumen to assess the financial implications of their decision.
· Knowledge of human resource management principles and procedures.
· Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
· Knowledge of the principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, and labor relations.
· Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services; creating sales strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
· Knowledge of various government rules and regulations that affect branch operation (i.e. Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations, Department of Labor (DOL), Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations)
· Knowledge of basic food safety for ensuring consumer health.
· Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong team player who can work across multiple functions and disciplines.
· Leadership skills are pertinent to providing and seeking out continuing education opportunities and fostering a growth mindset.
· Decision-making skills are key to weighing the costs and benefits of various options and determining the best course of action to achieve company goals.
· Excellent communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Ability to use Oracle ERP software.
· Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under various time constraints.

· Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
