Are you ready to take on a dynamic leadership role in managing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of material goods and services for our Cooperative? We're looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Manager.
Position Overview: As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating with procurement for material purchases, overseeing inventory control processes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You'll provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to our warehouse staff, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of materials to support our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, stocking, and issuing materials.
- Coordinate with purchasing and procurement departments to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Develop and implement procedures for efficient warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate material support for projects.
- Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory levels and generate reports.
- Implement best practices for inventory control, including daily and cycle counting.
