Warehouse Assistant

Position Summary: Supports the Logistics Department in assisting the warehouse supervisor and those that work in the warehouse with various logistics tasks, and inventory processes.

Responsibilities/Duties

● Space management - Assists in adjusting merchandise location, shelving and racks

● Shipping and Receiving

● Assists in filling requisitions and orders

● Assists in staging items by job in accordance with current process and procedures.

● Inventory control

● Ensures product availability and minimize inventory costs

● Maintains a constant awareness of inventory allocation and recommends changes

● Assembling orders and prepares goods for shipment in accordance with shipper’s guidelines.

● Assist in staging equipment for demonstrations, calibrations, and other testing done by the sales, engineering, and production teams.

● Ensure the warehouse and other Logistics areas are orderly, secure, and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness

● Be a responsible key-holder and appropriately open/close the facility as requested

● Complete assigned tasks given by the Logistics Supervisor and other members of the Leadership Team

● Pick up and deliver parts from suppliers as well as to and from job sites

Abilities

● Attention to Detail and well organized

● Ability to clearly communicate details verbally and in writing

● Able to effectively operate software such as QuickBooks, project management software, email, spreadsheets, and word processors

● Follow-up and follow-through on own initiative

● Ability to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a multitude of tasks

● Will be punctual, professional, and team-oriented

● Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

● Must have valid driver’s license and insurance

● Must be able to drive large company owned Sprinter Van and other vehicles

Schedule - M-F, 7:30a - 4:00p

Pay Range - $20 - $24 / HR
