Summary: Responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager with loading and unloading products for customers, while maintaining the equipment and on-site operations by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
2. Receives and inspects incoming shipments for discrepancies and damages and reports problems promptly to the appropriate person.*
3. Prepares items accurately for shipment according to customer orders/instructions by retrieving from the warehouse, packaging, weighing on a scale and documenting correct shipment details.*
4. Stores materials and supplies within the warehouse according to part number and/or description by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and stacking by hand or safely using material handling equipment.*
5. Signs for incoming deliveries and loads and unloads delivery trailers/trucks by hand or with material handling equipment as needed.*
6. Maintains shipping and receiving documentation in a neat and orderly manner.*
7. Reports shipping and receiving details to the appropriate department on a regular and timely basis.*
8. Maintains the warehouse and receiving area in a safe and orderly manner.*
9. Greets and screens incoming visitors/customers in a professional manner and promptly notifies appropriate person of their arrival.*
10. Receives and signs for packages and delivers to the appropriate person promptly.*
11. Maintains a professional appearance and promotes a positive image for the company.*
12. Load and off-load tucks safely using forklift and ramp systems.*
13. Assist drivers as needed with loading and unloading of trucks.*
14. Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
