Job Description


In a year unlike any other, Lakeshore continues to grow!
(Don’t be too surprised. Our people are really good at what they do.) To support our ongoing development, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Temporary Sourcer to join our HR/People team on a 3-6 Month Contract with the possibility of an extension. You will work closely with our Talent Acquisition Partners to gather hiring requirements, source and outreach to candidates, and schedule the interview process to help close top talent. You value a well-structured process and enjoy working with a diverse team of interviewers to continuously monitor and improve decision-making quality. You must possess a passion for finding talent and have excellent customer service skills, good judgment, strong attention to detail, and an outcome orientation. Lakeshore’s HR/People team serves a proudly diverse group and is always in line with company priorities and culture.

A day in the office looks like this:

  • Source and conduct outreach top talent through a variety of advanced and innovative recruitment methods to meet the needs of our organization
  • Develop strong candidate pipelines across a wide-ranging requisition load and yield results in a fast-paced setting
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers by providing excellent service, advice, direction and feedback throughout the complete selection process
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Partners with the implementation of staffing plans and strategies for Lakeshore to ensure a consistent and qualified talent pool flow
  • Provide excellent candidate experience, superb customer service, and appropriate and timely responses
  • Promote and support Lakeshore’s diversity efforts by ensuring an inclusive work environment and by recruiting candidates from diverse backgrounds

Qualifications


Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of full cycle corporate recruiting experience (experience recruiting for Distribution Center leadership roles is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience using a variety of recruitment methods, such as LinkedIn and other social media platforms, to source qualified candidates and the ability to bring creative recruiting ideas to enhance our current recruiting efforts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to engage candidates and act as a company ambassador—previous experience in sales highly desired
  • Track record of success in building strong relationships and effectively communicates around highly personal topics such as motivation, compensation, career progression
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using an ATS
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Extremely detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through skills
