Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Program and non-program products –Loans, Securities, and other Investments
- Day-to-day activities – principal paydowns, accrual of interest, guarantee fees, advances, commitment fees, servicing fees
- Periodic activities – allowance for losses, non-accruals, mark-to-market for available-for-sale securities, buyouts, real estate owned, buyout loans
- Document and review business requirements for the development of financial reports.
- Test new or updates on system applications to ensure accounting requirements are met.
- Review reports for Financial and Management Reporting and perform analysis on the results of operations at a higher level for various reporting and presentation purposes.
- Perform or assist in other tasks that may be assigned on a regular or ad hoc basis.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and understanding of business financial statements.
- Thorough knowledge of loan- and securities-related Financial Accounting Standards.
- Familiarity with systems used to process, account and report financial products.
- Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and related applications, preferably with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and Access).
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management.
- Five to eight years in public or private accounting. Financial services experience in Government Sponsored Enterprises or other financial institutions is preferred. Public accounting experience is a plus.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
