Job Description

The company currently generates annual sales of $1.7 billion with approximately 3000 team members and has a $150 billion-plus Parent company based in the U.S. You will be an integral part of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the Human Resources and people management strategies.

Corporate Office: Chicago, IL (this role is based in the Chicago office)
Manufacturing Facilities: Bedford Park, IL - Lithia Springs, GA - San Bernardino, CA - Baltimore, MD
Talent Acquisition & People Strategy
- Develop and implement strategies for managing a large front-line hourly workforce (including temps), ensuring retention, engagement, and a standard level of performance.
- Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Partner with the CFO and other stakeholders to budget and execute people strategies.
Culture and Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing strategic long-range guidance to support organizational growth and other people-related matters.
- Foster and promote a strong culture that aligns with company values, emphasizing data-driven decision-making, results orientation, and collaboration.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Operations, Tech, Product, Finance, HR, and Legal.
HR Process Development & Performance Tracking
- Establish and maintain consistent HR processes and policies across the organization, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and compensation.
- Streamline HR operations for maximum efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Define and track KPIs related to HR strategies and processes.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Drive Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, fostering a welcoming workplace for all.
Labor Relations
- Facilitate positive relationships with labor unions and minimize disruptions to operations.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all HR-related Laws and Regulations.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or operations (a product-driven industry is highly preferred).
- Strong culture fit with an emphasis on being data-driven, results-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
- Lead people and organizational change with the ability to achieve objectives through others.
- Up to 50% travel within the first year.
