The Video Editor/Social Media Manager position is a part-time role, with the future potential for full-time employment in which you will be responsible for working directly with our owner and coaches to develop creative and entertaining fitness education content. A desire to learn the ins and outs of multiple social media platforms, including IG, FB, TikTok, Youtube, Youtube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Snapchat is a necessity!
Strength Academy provides fitness classes with an emphasis on strength training and a heavy focus on teaching individuals proper execution of movements. Personality and effective communication are of utmost importance to our organization. If you are new to video editing/social media, but have an excellent attitude and willingness to learn, please apply. We are willing to train the right candidate. Our ideal hire has some experience in video editing and the major social media platforms. Ability to help with some Graphic Design is a plus! Key Responsibilities:
- Basic Graphic Design: Utilize tools like Canva to create engaging visual content for various social media platforms.
- Content Creation: Develop original and compelling content including photos and videos using iPhone for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Posting, Monitoring, and Analytics: Manage day-to-day posting schedules, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics across all social media channels.
- Collaboration: Attend weekly on-site meetings to brainstorm and collaborate on content ideas with team members.
- Photo and Video Editing: Edit and enhance photos and videos to maintain a consistent brand aesthetic and maximize engagement.
- Analytics Reporting: Compile and present monthly analytics reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Proficiency in basic graphic design, with Canva skills being acceptable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with scheduling and analytics platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
