Job Description
As a Motion Graphics & Video Editor, you will work closely with Account Directors, script writers and other creative team members to create professional, high-quality TV Commercials and Online Video Content deliverables for our clients. You have a solid command of design principles, typography, and animation techniques. You are a great collaborator, you appreciate ideas, and welcome suggestions.
You continually strive to meet or exceed expectations in all aspects of your role, from supporting client accounts to proactively contributing and collaborating with the team. You have a solid understanding of digital marketing. If you have working knowledge of Tier III Agency, In-House Automotive Dealership Marketing/Advertising experience, you will have a definite leg-up on the competition!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely Account Directors, script writers, and other creative team members to understand project requirements and objectives
- Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., After Effects, Premier Pro) to edit footage and bring static designs to life through animation
- Edit and enhance existing videos with Motion Graphics elements to create cohesive and engaging content
- Input music, add Sound FX, graphics, and effects to video projects
- Meet or exceed deadlines, without compromising quality or integrity of product
- Effectively communicate creative ideas, as well as troubleshoot and provide solutions
- Download, create, and organize library assets for editing use
- Assist with troubleshooting post issues, including audio mixing, color correction, file formats, etc.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall visual impact of projects
- Collaborate with graphic designers, script writers, and other team members to ensure consistency in visual storytelling
- Provide support and expertise on Motion Graphics-related aspects of cross-functional projects
- Work well independently and with team members
- Develop and understand visual concepts that align with brand
- Remain flexible with design changes and creative direction if/when modified by clients, producer, or Creative Director
- Ability to receive constructive feedback from teammates, supervisor(s), and clients with utmost professionalism

REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS in Motion Graphics Film, Videography, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years’ professional motion design experience
- Tier III Automotive Agency experience, preferred
- Accomplished in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro
- Proficient with both MAC and PC operating systems
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and animation techniques
- 3D modeling and Animation - Cinema 4D, a PLUS!
- Ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
