Job Description
As the VP of Revenue Cycle Operations you will:
- Lead and oversee the Revenue Cycle department, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing financial performance.
- Leverage Centricity and other technologies to elevate Revenue Cycle operations.
- Drive the selection and successful adoption of innovative technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cultivate and mentor a high-performing Revenue Cycle team.
- Instill a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the department.
- Propel financial performance by establishing and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Implement initiatives focused on improving billing accuracy, collections, and overall financial outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement within the Revenue Cycle.
- Implement strategic changes to streamline operations and bolster financial results.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other departments, particularly finance and IT, to ensure integrated and efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
In order to be successful in the role you must possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in Revenue Cycle Management within a healthcare setting. A specialized focus on oncology practices is preferred.
- Proficient in using Centricity with a demonstrated track record of successful technology adoption.
- Proven leadership skills, showcasing the ability to drive financial performance.
- Strong mentorship and team development capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
- The ideal candidate would reside within the state of Florida, with a preference for Tampa.
