Title: Vice President of Managed Aircraft Sales
Location: Varies – Based on assigned territory
Reports to: President – Jet Access Aviation

Job Summary:
The Vice President of Managed Aircraft Sales will have the primary focus of bringing new clients and Managed Aircraft (Part 91 or 135) into the Jet Access Fleet. By working with current networks, referrals, and development of new client generation leads, the ultimate goal of this role will be to build long term relationships with high quality external business partners for the future of Jet Access through Managed Aircraft, aircraft syndication (Wing Share) and charter sales transactions.
Core Schedule:
  • Days: Monday thru Friday
  • Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • On call or evening/weekend/holiday hours will likely be required for various events, initiatives, and client support needs.
Compensation Package:
  • Lucrative commission potential based per the Executive Vice President of Aircraft Management Sales Variable Compensation Structure.
  • Base salary of $50,000.00 - $125,000.00 (annualized, paid bi-weekly)
Day in the Life:
  • Pursue prospective new clients utilizing a variety of research tools including business directories, trade shows, leads and contacts made at conferences or professional society meetings.
  • Identify and qualify legitimate sales opportunities, providing a consultative and value-added approach to develop relationships for the long-term success of the client and Jet Access.
  • Negotiate initial and renewal contracts for managed assets.
  • Expands upon the goodwill and name recognition of the Jet Access brand in the marketplace. Works to increase positive brand visibility and recognition.
  • Develops and executes sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Explore and develop existing accounts organic growth opportunities.
  • Understand competitor performance and market conditions to effectively leverage Jet access revenue streams across all verticals.
  • Work with owners and charter customers to understand, compare aircraft management and charter solutions and troubleshoot problems or gaps with their current solutions.
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of aircraft in fleet, capabilities, and services offered, as well as competition and broader market dynamics that frame business context now and, in the future.
  • Prepare and issue quotes for retail charter trips, both on and off Jet Access fleet of aircraft.
  • Process sale orders for Retail Charter customers as requested.
  • Support the review of cost and revenue data to ensure that trips quoted and sold meet the fiscal guidelines set by the company.
  • Support data analytics and trip profitability reviews for the Wholesale Charter team.
  • Continue to build relationships with Wholesale Charter brokers, establishing new partnerships and growing existing relationships. Support peer Team Members in day-to-day relationship management and growth.
  • Champion driving revenue growth through exploring and capitalizing on new market share and retail charter opportunities.
  • Provide leads to Brokerage team for client aircraft acquisition needs. Support brokerage sales and acquisitions transactions for referred clients as needed.
  • Work with peer leaders in the company to build strong processes and procedures to ensure efficient and quality aircraft management.
  • Coordinate with other Team members to establish sales plans that align with company goals, meeting department performance targets.
  • Take on additional projects and tasks as needed to support business growth and change.
  • Other projects, tasks, and duties as assigned.
What will make you successful:
  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation, marketing, or related field. Advance degree preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in 135 Charter sales, aviation, or travel services strongly preferred.
  • Effective at organizing, planning, and prioritizing work to maintain contact with all customers and prospects in the market area.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent ability to understand and translate customer requirements and interact and cooperate with company employees in all departments.
  • Tenacious self-starter with a mature outlook. Proven ability to operate independently and achieve results; enthusiastic, committed, and conscientious.
  • Able to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced and quickly changing environment.
  • Professional, well spoken, and comfortable speaking to clients, owners, vendors, and guests from all demographics.
  • Effective decision maker and problem solver. Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose a solution that benefits both the supplier and the customer.
  • Strong computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Avianis also a plus.
  • Flexible working schedule and ability to travel is a must.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment background check.
  • Must present a professional appearance, and ability to communicate clearly, and professionally in verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to read and respond to various forms of electronic, written, and verbal communications.
