We are seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to work in our Addison, TX location. This position will be full time onsite in Texas.
The Vice President (VP) of Human Resources (HR) leads INSPIRE’s HR operations and is responsible for delivering a customer-centric approach to supporting the people needs of our workforce. The VP will establish and execute long-range strategic talent and human capital management goals, evaluate and enforce legally compliant HR policies, shape HR processes and procedures to optimize the efficiency of the HR team and enhance the customer experience, and serve as an enthusiastic evangelist of INSPIRE’s people-focused culture.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with the CEO, COO, Executives, and key stakeholders to define the organization’s mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management.
• Recruits, interviews, hires, trains, and continuously mentors HR staff, including managers and individual contributors.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department. Leverages planning tools to delegate tasks, lend hands-on support, and deliver timely status updates to key stakeholders.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Identifies Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the organization’s HR and talent management functions; assesses INSPIRE’s success and market competitiveness based on those metrics.
• Routinely evaluates HR processes, procedures, and tools with the dual objectives of maximizing HR team efficiency and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensures that payroll is completed accurately and on time.
• Supports our recruitment efforts by being a thought leader on how to attract top talent.
• Researches, develops, and implements employee performance appraisals, recognition programs, and compensation and incentive plans.
• Provides guidance and leadership to the HR management team; assists with resolution of questions, concerns, and issues pertaining to employee welfare, compensation, and benefits.
• Collaborate with Learning and Development and divisional leaders to develop programs and resources to stimulate employee career progression.
• Maintains knowledge of rules, regulations, and best practices in employment law, HR, and talent management at local, state, and federal levels.
• Ensures compliance with multi-state employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements. Responsible for internal HR audit support.
• Drafts and implements the budget for the HR department.
• Stays knowledgeable on current and emerging HR trends by participating in professional development and networking conferences and events
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s or Law degree highly preferred.
• At least ten (10) years of HR management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
