Immediate need for a Human Resources Manager in Long Beach. The Human Resources Manager reports to the Director of Human Resources and will be responsible for the Credit Union’s day-to-day Human Resources function for 70 employees across 6 locations in California and Hawaii. Responsibilities include payroll processing, recruitment, and selection, hew hire orientations, employee relations, policies and practices, employee benefits, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, health and safety, and record compliance. This position also administers and monitors human resource programs and ensures compliance with Credit Union policies, as well as federal and state regulatory requirements. Participates in developing department systems, goals, and objectives. Job Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field and minimum five years related experience. 2. Management experience with employee relations and recruiting expertise, preferably in a Credit Union or financial institution. 3. Experience processing payroll, knowledge of various time and labor, and payroll processing programs, such as Paychex, Paycom, and/or ADP. 4. Requires broad knowledge of personnel administration policies and practices, labor laws, and wage and hour laws. 5. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. 6. (S)PHR-CA, SHRM-CP certification preferred. 7. Labor relations experience within a labor union environment preferred. Great benefits.
