Responsibilities

KBR is seeking a Vice President, BD Regional Leader (BD Regional Leader- Americas) for the Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) Business. The Business Development Regional leader will lead the Sales & Business Development (BD) Team in the Region and will be responsible for delivering the sales targets for the Region. This is a quota-carrying role, with the Regional Leader responsible for an assigned Job Income (JI) quota.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Business Development (SVP BD), the BD Regional Leader will lead a unified regional team in the Americas to execute and deliver sales and Business Development needs across the four STS businesses; Technology, Energy Solutions (ES), Industrial Solutions (IS), and Technology Led Industrial Solutions (TLIS). In addition to leading the Regional sales team to deliver the assigned JI quota, the Regional Leader will be responsible for ensuring adherence to KBR’s required sales processes, including but not limited to ensuring accuracy in sales forecasting, developing Win Strategies, identifying ONE-STS opportunities within the region and across other regions, developing and teams including proactive identification of areas for improvement, leading the development of executive level client relationships, identifying opportunities for alliances and acquisitions, leading with development of regional marketing plans, attending business dashboard reviews, and driving cost synergies across the business.

The VP BD Regional Leader- Americas will be responsible for all client and market intelligence and analysis of business opportunities, consistent with the organization's strategic plans.

A core part of the VP BD Regional Leader’s responsibilities will be to identify and drive sales and business acquisition synergies across the STS portfolio, while ensuring that each of the STS businesses (Technology, IS, ES, and TLIS) achieve their annual sales targets to ensure each BU attains its assigned business objectives.

The VP BD Regional Leader - Americas will ensure a continuous performance assessment of the Regional Sales Team and by the end of Q2 2024 present a forward-going organization structure for the respective regional sales team to the to the SVP BD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience with demonstrated success in Business Development and capture of contracts valued greater than $10MM- 30MM in booked Job Income (JI).
• Bachelor’s degree in related field

• Demonstrated successes reflecting the ability to grow a business
• Strong skill in business writing – both technical and non-technical
• Familiarity and experience managing and utilizing tools such as Salesforce.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and Regional leaders and to provide leadership within the workplace
• Working knowledge and experience with positioning and closing business around sustainable technologies
• Experience developing account plans and capture plans for new business opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop teams, including implementing changes to achieve organizational needs and objectives
