SEEKING PART TIME VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST!
Our privately owned veterinary hospital is looking to add to our unicorn team! We are located in beautiful Pierce County and are looking for a fun, compassionate person with top-notch customer service skills to join our hard working and energetic crew. A receptionist holds one of the most important roles because they will provide the first and last impressions of this hospital so it is necessary for the right candidate who enjoys working with both people and animals in a fast paced and ever changing environment. It is important that this role be fulfilled by someone who is able to prioritize, multitask with numerous interruptions, and have the ability to communicate directly and professionally.
Job requirements/skills/physical demands: Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma. Prior veterinary experience is a plus. Person must have exemplary communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and be a team player. Telephone and computer skills are needed. Person must be willing to interact with and restrain animals- it is not a requirement to know how as long as you are someone who is teachable! Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds unassisted, be dependable, reliable, remain calm under stress, and have fun!
The schedule has the potential to be flexible, and decided after mutual discussion on your availability and our needs. This is a temporary position with the chance of becoming a permanent member of our team.

Pay: $16.28 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 30 per week
