Veterinary Receptionist

Woodinville Animal Hospital, a multi-doctor clinic and staple in the community since 1978, is searching for a full or part-time receptionist to join our team.

Preferred background/experience:

• Empathetic and caring personality with excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable working with computers; experience with eVet Practice is a plus
• Passionate about building a strong bond with Woodinville Animal Hospital clientele
• Team player who is productive, dependable, focused, and detail-oriented
• Previous veterinary reception experience required

Primary responsibilities:

• Client communication and education
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Collaboration with other team members
• Managing phone lines
• Booking appointments
• Setting up new clients and patients
• Over-the-counter sales
• Financial transactions
• General front desk duties (email, faxing, filing, etc.)
• Ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is always clean and presentable
• Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings, noticing areas of need within the practice

We provide a variety of services to small animals in our community with a Fear Free approach. Although our hospital is not certified, we have multiple Fear Free professionals on our staff and prioritize gentle patient handling. We currently operate 8am-6pm Monday-Friday, and typically have two or three doctors working each day, with one doing surgeries. Our purpose is to enhance people and pets’ lives, contribute to our community, and be Woodinville’s most trusted general practice.
