Veterinary Receptionist

Startz Veterinary is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team!

We are looking for a team player with strong communication skills, who love animals, are eager to learn, compassionate, and have excellent attention to detail. Previous veterinary experience strongly preferred! This position can be full time or part time, Monday – Friday, No weekends!

Background and experience:

• Comfortable around dogs and cats
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and clients
• Exceptional communication and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong work ethic and ability to jump in and help where needed
• Familiar with (or eager to learn about) the veterinary field (terminology, procedures, medical conditions, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Client service and communication
• Greeting and discharging patients and clients
• Over the counter sales
• Scheduling appointments
• Entering and updating client and patient information
• General front desk duties (answering phones, emailing, filing, etc.)
