Vantage Mid America is seeking a motivated, success-oriented technician to provide support for our Agriculture products in several of our branch locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing technical support and training for Trimble Precision Agriculture products and software solutions, such as:
  • Precision Steering
  • Precision Planting
  • Precision Spraying
  • GNSS solutions
• Supporting the sales initiative
• Teaching training classes as needed
• Significant local travel and some long distance travel throughout the Midwest will be required for this position.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

· Bachelor’s degree in agriculture related field

· 3+ years selling Precision Agriculture products, Trimble experience preferred

· Proven work experience as a Sales Manager to grow a multi-state territory

· Experience working within the Ag equipment distribution channel

· Experience with CRM systems and other sales tools.

· Ability to operate autonomously and drive results

· Ability to express, formulate, and present technical information or concepts with clarity and effectiveness

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills

· Ability to generate demand for Trimble Ag products and close prospective sales.
