The Town of Hamilton is actively seeking candidates to fill the role of Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Treasure/Collector Office. As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will serve as the main point of contact for the general public. Your primary responsibilities will include providing clerical, AR/AP, and administrative support to the Treasurer/Collector’s Office. This involves managing daily office operations, updating records, inputting data into the financial system, processing receipts for taxes, water bills, and other department revenues, as well as assisting with specialized documents within specified deadlines.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to demonstrate flexibility, prioritize tasks, work independently, maintain detailed recordkeeping processes, exhibit excellent customer service skills, and uphold a professional demeanor in an environment with continually changing priorities.
