Receptionist/Host

Pooch Hotel is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our pup loving pack as a full-time employee!

Who we are:

Pooch Hotel is a full service, resort experience for Newton MA area dogs and their parents. We offer daycare, boarding, grooming, and retail. Our pack takes pride in our work by conducting and holding ourselves to an extremely high standard of customer care and dog safety.

Who you are:

Applicants should be: organized, enthusiastic, detail oriented, patient, hard-working, dedicated, dog-loving and professional. Applicants should also be calm under pressure, self motivated, and have a willingness to listen to properly identify and solve problems quickly. Friendliness paired with a people pleasing attitude is key! And let us not forget you get dog kisses daily!

What we expect:

We proudly open our doors to ALL breeds; so applicants should be comfortable around all dogs, regardless of their age and size.

1 - 2 years work experience in reception or customer service is required. Previous experience working with animals (especially dogs) is preferred.

Must be able to lift 50lbs. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite is expected. Ability to handle multiple phone lines will be necessary. BONUS: If you have experience with Gingr App software.

Must be over the age of 18 and have reliable transportation.

Work Schedule & Benefits:

Pooch Hotel offers services 7 days a week! Considered applicants will be available to work both morning and afternoon shifts as well as weekends and holidays.

Applicants will enjoy discounts on retail and in house services after completion of the 90 day probationary period when hired. Employees who work 30 plus hours a week will have access to health insurance, dental and vision insurance, and our 401k program along with other benefits.
