As a Mold Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for overhauling and maintaining molds according to specification, quality agreements and within the agreed time and remedying malfunctions of these products.
Your responsibility
- Assemble molds according to specifications
- Performs maintenance and overhaul work
- Provides manual and/or mechanical fitting, updating, and assembling of pre-processed (sub)parts into molds.
- Polishing of high gloss
- Sandblasting (basic) of textures
- Fixes malfunctions and/or repairs the mold during production
- Communication with the team on mold availability
Job Requirements
- Technical/ Mechanical education
- Several years of demonstrable work experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of the English language
- Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings.
- Competent in several of the following areas: reading blueprints, pneumatics, hydraulics, machine shop equipment, metal fabrication, mechanical principles, and advanced math.
- Basic rigging skills to manage assembled molds and mold plates
- Working knowledge of injection molding machines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. unassisted.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
