Form of workThis position will primarily focus on processing legal paperwork and titles for pre-owned car, trucks, and SUV’s. Comprehensive knowledge of out-of-state documents & titles is required. The ideal candidate must be able to process high volume transactions in an extremely fast pace environment, all while maintaining compliance with our policies and satisfying our customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process out of state title work for both wholesale and retail transactions.
- Examine titles for accuracy.
- Interact and Resolve titling issues through interactions with dealers, customers, and auctions.
- Follow up with different lending institutions.
- Work closely with different departments within the company.
- Maintain knowledge of current DMV laws across all states.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience as a TITLE CLERK in the automotive industry.
- Ability to work independently with little direction.
- A sense of urgency is a must in this position.
- Great telephone skills
- Team player
- Knowledge and ability to assign over ownership on titles for all 50 states.
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and can multi task.
- Must have strong computer skills.
- Willingness to take initiative.
- Notary is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years related experience required.
