Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process vehicle title paperwork for new and used car sales
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all title documentation
- Submit title applications to the appropriate state agencies in a timely manner
- Track and follow up on outstanding title work
- Maintain organized records of all title transactions
- Communicate with customers, lenders, and vendors regarding title-related matters
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Title Clerk or in a similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and account analysis
- Familiarity with general ledger accounting and corporate accounting principles
- Ability to perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
- Understanding of financial concepts and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping methods
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
