The Governance and Experience Team (GNE) is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for buyers, but also for our sellers and creators. The Policy Operations team collaborates with crossfunction teams across TikTok Shop, creating and editing our policies, ensuring policy operational excellence and quality communication content.
What You'll be Doing
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to write and develop high-quality policies and Communications, ensuring our policies are clear and concise.
- Interacting and building relationships with crossfunctional stakeholders, including but not limited to policy owners, business teams and Legal to update/clarify our Policy and communication content, in adherence with our TikTok Shop standards.
- Responsible for publishing policies and supporting documentation to our internal and external systems and tools.
- Set and manage standards and processes engaging with the Product Management team to create and improve the accuracy and efficiency of our policies.
- Using policy metrics to identify areas of improvement and policy penetration.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 3 years as a Technical Writer
- Expertise in policy creation/development, project management experience, Marketplace, risk management or compliance is a plus
- Experience managing website content creation projects and collaboration with crossfunctional and global teams
- Ability to coordinate internal and external resources to obtain and operationalize information while developing strategy and improving processes

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88920 - $152000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
