TikTok Shops Supply Chain & Logistics is looking for an experienced Inventory Placement Strategy Manager. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy and management to ensure inventory is distributed optimally across the network with the goal of optimizing delivery speed and cost. We are looking for someone with strong program management and analytical-mindset, who can play a key role in growing and scaling supply chain and operations.
Responsibilities:

• Develop the nuanced inventory positioning strategy and product flow strategy by product type
• Guide industry-leading technology to replenish, forward position inventory and fulfill orders with optimal speed vs. cost tradeoff
• Develop the Inventory Placement Strategy for 0 - 24 months by site, by product types to respond to emerging opportunities
• Generate targets for overall Out of Stock, Cost and manage the business towards those goals
• Relentlessly focus and drive large scale transformation projects in operations and supply chain

Qualifications
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of program or project management experience or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience driving process improvements experience
• Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $125400 - $253080 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
