About the Team
E-commerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules, and systems to ensure quality. As the leader of the AMS Intelligence team, you will be responsible for researching and gaining insights on the latest risk and fraud patterns on the market.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Research fraud-related trends and gain industry insights; build effective intelligence tools and processes to mitigate risk on the platform;
- Identify vulnerabilities and how it is being by fraudsters to abuse the platform;
- Build out an intelligence task force;
- Regularly produce high-quality fraud reports to summarize new trends and business impacts and present them to senior management teams;
- Engage with various business, technology, and security/risk stakeholders to identify and solve risk problems at scale;
- Collaborate with Legal, Public Affairs, and other cross-functional teams (when needed) to investigate and respond to regulator inquires on fraud and (or) abuse-related activities;
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks related to Fraud Operations
- Help launch and establish risk control systems in a new market
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years professional experience in operation and investigation related to fraud, abuse, or cybercrime
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and good project management skills
- Ability to understand opposing points of view on highly complex issues
- Ability to gather information from various online sources and community groups
- E-commerce experience preferred
- Leadership and People Management experience preferred
- Capacity to draw actionable insights from datasets; knowledge of SQL, Python, or equivalent is a plus
- Experience with FBI or law enforcement agency strongly preferred

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $139650 - $256500 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
