he Elec ronic Sys ems Labora ory (ELSYS) is curren ly seeking a S uden In ern in he es Engineering Division ( EN) for he Summer of 2024.
es Engineering Division ( EN) provides es and Evalua ion ( &E) capabili y for Elec ronic Warfare (EW), Avionics, and Radar Hardware-in- he-Loop (HI L) es sys ems. hese sys ems provide high fideli y simula ion and s imula ion of real- ime Elec ro-Op ical/Infrared (EO/IR), Radio Frequency (RF), and Avionics environmen s for es ing EW, Avionics and Radar sys ems ha are used o pro ec aircraf from ground and airborne hrea s.
his broad range of research will provide a solid founda ion for he s uden as a fu ure sof ware engineer. he s uden will work under he guidance of G RI researchers performing research and developmen in one of he following areas -
- Sensing and processing broad bands of he elec romagne ic spec rum
- Crea ing a complex elec romagne ic environmen used o es Aircraf Pro ec ion sys ems
- Con rolling and configuring HI L es s a ions
- Using Machine Learning and/or da a science for da a analysis applica ions
he s uden researcher will perform one or more of he following ac ivi ies -
- Design, code, and debug Windows and Linux sof ware, embedded sys ems sof ware, FPGA firmware, or web echnologies for elec ronic warfare or radar sys ems es applica ions
- Conduc es ing of Windows and Linux applica ion sof ware, embedded sys ems sof ware, FPGA firmware or web echnologies
- Develop sof ware es ools

Required Minimum Qualifica ions

- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Compu er Science, Compu er Engineering, Elec rical Engineering or rela ed.
- 3.0 or higher cumula ive GPA
