CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be supporting Trident Training Facility (TTF) in Kings Bay, GA. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to perform technical activities that impact the weapons system training of the SSBN/SSGN weapons department. The selected candidate will be directly responsible for SP23 & SP205 unique training equipment, Tactical Fire Control Systems, and weapons system's labs. Provide technical solutions as needed to TTF Naval personnel, SP, and the GDMS home office. Communicate site problems, concerns and observations to GDMS, SP 23 and SP205 in a timely manner. Identify, evaluate and resolve potential problem areas using approved documentation. Provide On the Job Training to help TTF personnel understand equipment maintenance and operation.
