Test Engineering Manager

We are in search of multifaceted Test Engineering Manager to become a valuable addition to our team. In this role you will use your robust metrology background and leadership capabilities to manage the calibration and testing processes for electronic equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Test Engineering team, providing mentorship and support to ensure the highest level of performance.

• Develop and implement testing strategies, processes, and procedures of equipment calibration and physical/dimensional calibration.

• Collaborate with across the business working with various teams to identify and resolve testing issues and optimize testing workflows.

• Stay up to date with programming languages and new technologies including languages, Python and MetCal

• Ensure the accurate use and maintenance of equipment.

• Analyze measurement uncertainties and apply metrology principles to improve testing accuracy and efficiency.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using FBS principles.

• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to improve their skills and knowledge.

• Contribute to the attraction and recruitment of high potential professionals and retention of top performers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience 

• Shown years of experience in a supervisory/management role (3+ years) preferably in metrology or a related technical industry.

• Technical experience in the metrology field with presented knowledge of electronic equipment calibration, physical and dimensional calibration, and test and measurement equipment

• Possess an understanding of quality management system policies and procedures (ISO9001, ISO17025-2018, …)

• In-depth knowledge of new technologies and programming languages, Python

• Programming expertise, including MetCal programming.

• Excellent managerial skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
