Tektronix Component Solutions (CSO) is a leading innovator in advanced microelectronics solutions providing turnkey services for design, manufacture, and testing of high-performance, high-reliability assemblies. The CSO Test Engineering Team through hardware and software design develop custom test solutions to address the specific test requirements for a wide array of devices. This experienced team provides a full range of performance validation services for precision high-performance integrated circuits used in analog, digital, mixed, and RF-signal processing applications.

Work as part of a Test Engineering team that develops and maintains test solutions for leading-edge high-performance microelectronics packaging, hybrids, modules, and components. Develop, implement, or improve hardware and software test solutions for products using a variety of technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop digital and mixed signal test applications for package and wafer test of ASIC devices.
  • Create calibration methods with physical and programmable standards.
  • Design and implement test fixture de-embedding methodology.
  • Design and maintain test applications on an ATE system.
  • Perform circuit board design (schematic capture).
  • Develop wafer sort applications.
  • Integrate test applications with package handlers.
  • Sub-system design, including electrical, mechanical, and digital sub-systems.
  • Create training documents and train Technicians and Operators to be self-sufficient in test operation and maintenance.
  • Calculate Test Accuracy and Uncertainty.
  • Interact and present to internal and external customers as needed.
  • Participate in problem solving Kaizen group events.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years working experience in microelectronics industry or comparable military training in engineering technology or related field with BSEE, BSCompE or equivalent.
  • Experience with test & measurement equipment, including rack and stack design.
  • Experience writing software for test automation, with knowledge of Delphi, C++, C, or Matlab preferred.
  • Experience with wafer probers, with knowledge of ACCRETECH / TSK, TEL and Form Factor preferred.
  • Experience with Package Handlers such as Exatron, Chroma, Cohu, and ASECO.
  • Experience in a regulated environment, such as ISO and AS9100.
  • Experience with thick and thin film laser trim processes would be beneficial.
  • Network administration experience would be beneficial.
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continually required to stand; walk; balance; crouch, stoop, twist, kneel, use hands to finger, handle, grasp, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, some overhead push/pull an average of 50 lbs. (maximum 125 lbs.). The employee is occasionally required to lift more than 50 lbs.; climb; twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job.
