Summary Objectives
The Sales Manager in North America will drive sales for 3 of our business entities (Entrepix, PR Hoffman, Intersurface) in the North Americaan region. The three entities are part of the Amtech Group in Tempe, AZ. The manager acts as the account manager in a field sales capacity generating revenue by strategizing, planning, and implementing business plans to new and established accounts, while cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities and creating positive business results.
Amtech Systems: a market leader in the high-end power chip market (SiC and 300mm Si HTR), developing and supplying essential equipment and consumables used in the semiconductor industry. Our products are recognized under the leading brand names: BTU International, Entrepix, Inc., PR Hoffman, and Intersurface Dyanmics.
Entrepix: products include the OnTrak cleaner for double sided scrubbing applications including but not limited to post-CMP cleans; Engineered Products including upgrades, parts, training, and services for supporting existing installation base of AMAT Mirra polishers, and CMP foundry services for research and development, process optimization, yield improvement, equipment demonstrations and pilot production.
PR Hoffman: products include lapping and polishing consumables for SiC Wafer Processing, Semiconductor Wafer Processing, Optics, and Ceramic industries.
Intersurface Dynamics: products include three product lines; 1) Tensor Series Products are used by device manufacturers in applications such as cleaning, etching, dicing and CMP. 2) Vector Series Products are designed specifically for grinding, sawing, lapping, cleaning, etching and polishing semiconductor substrates. 3) Challenge Series Products address similar processes for manufacturers of precision optics, technical ceramics, and advanced displays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Direct, lead and motivate the manufacturing reps to meet or exceed the revenue targets within the assigned territory.
· Key account management of existing customers in the region
· Add sales representation organizations for the best coverage throughout North America
· Drive sales activities in direct accounts.
· Report sales forecast data for the assigned territory.
· Assist marketing in preparing sales presentations and special sales promotions to potential customers.
· Participate in technical trade shows and symposiums.
· Provide input that helps drive the overall strategic initiatives of the company including market trends, account specific strategies, and competitive landscape.
· Ensure that regional manufacturing representatives are sufficiently trained in products, strategy, and sales processes.
· Manage budget/cost effectiveness and fiscally sound practices to minimize budgetary expenses and maximize selling efficiency.
· Strictly adhere to all Amtech Group safety policies.
· Able and willing to travel approximately 50% of the time to customers, prospects, and representative sites in North America.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
· Possess the knowledge of the device and wafer processing manufacturing marketplace and customer base.
· Ability to interact with the highest management levels of our customers.
· Excellent presentation skills to be able to present our product offerings and capabilities from all the Amtech’s business segments.
· High level of self-confidence and poise under pressure.
· Self-starting orientation with the intense desire/drive to “make things happen.”
· High degree of integrity and a sound business perspective.
· Excellent written and communication skills.
· Experience using CRM applications a plus.
· Must have Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) experience.
· Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in capital equipment.
· Possess the capability and desire to gain knowledge and proficiency in new technical areas.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
