Team Downtown Raleigh’s core mission is to ensure Downtown Raleigh is clean and aesthetically pleasing.
This temporary position (up to 999 hours in a calendar year) can be part-time working Saturday and Sunday, OR full-time Thursday through Monday: 6 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. (April - September) and 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. (October - March).
Primary duty includes manual use of broom and dustpan to remove litter and other waste from sidewalks throughout the Downtown area. Other responsibilities may include powerwashing, weeding, and graffiti removal, or other duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow verbal and written instructions, and communicate those to other team members as needed •
- Perform manual labor for extended periods, sometimes under unfavorable conditions
- Walk short and long distances
- Interest and ability to provide excellent customer service
- On-time arrival and commitment to the work hours listed
Typical Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma (or GED) and at least 1 years of relevant experience is required. Applicants may substitute additional relevant education for the required experience.
