Part Time Position
Performs a variety of custodial duties to include mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying garbage, etc. Other duties as assigned. Duty hours are approximately 5:00 - 9:00 pm; Monday through Friday for a total not to exceed 20 hours per week. Must be available to work other duty hours as necessary for special projects. Must possess a high school diploma or GED, minimum age of 18 and a valid NC Class "C" driver's license. Applicant must successfully pass a thorough background investigation.
Mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, cleaning windows, cleaning bathrooms, emptying garbage, and other general cleaning duties.
Cleaning carpets.
Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is typically performed while typically sitting, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, or walking. The employee frequently lifts light and occasionally heavy objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is typically performed in a municipal building. The employee may be exposed to dust, dirt, and irritating chemicals. The work may require the use of protective devices such as gloves.
