TEMP Coordinator, Creative Synch

Your primary mission is researching BMG's catalogue and logging metadata information pertinent to pitching our catalogue for TV/Film opportunities, preparing audio assets for ingestion and creating marketing materials such as themed playlists and samplers. Additional responsibilities will include researching charting titles, data entry, music search support as well as support Creative Synch pitching team with all needs.

What You'll Be Doing.

• Schedule meetings, securing rooms, greeting guests and handling guest relations 

• Create digital marketing campaigns for upcoming shows, music releases, and confirmed synchs 

• Research and confirm song ownership 

• Ensure department procured pitches are up to date in BMG Songs and logged in a timely manner 

• Ingest songs into our music housing library platform, DISCO, with proper metadata and tags 

• Update/maintain department lists, tools, and yearly industry events 

• Track shows and work in tandem with venues and internal departments to secure tickets 

• Create internal tools/playlists as needed and circulate incoming audio internally 

Must-Haves

• Basic understanding of Creative Synch and the difference between master and publishing rights. 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, iTunes, Spotify, Google Suite, Mailchimp. Prior use of DISCO is a plus. 

• You have a familiarity with a variety of music from various genres and decades, and digital audio file formats. 

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to track and follow through on multiple concurrent projects to completion. 

• Resourceful and have the ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing tasks. Your time management skills allow you to meet deadlines easily. 

• You are comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, working in a team and are a self-starter. 

Bachelors degree in Music Business, Entertainment or related program is a plus but not required

Pay Range

$43,000 - 47,000 per annum

The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs.
