Technical Support Specialist

LS Building Products, a leading supplier in the building products industry, is seeking a dedicated Level 1 Technical Support Specialist to join our in-house IT team. Our company prides itself on providing top-quality building materials and services, supported by advanced technology solutions including a robust Microsoft 365 environment that ensures seamless operations and communication.

Job Description: As a Level 1 Technical Support Specialist, you’ll be the frontline support for our employees, addressing a range of technical issues. Your role will include troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems, as well as providing support for, including but not limited to Microsoft 365. You'll play a key role in keeping our IT operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Pay Range: $18 - $22/hr (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level contact and resolution for all IT-related issues within the company, with a special emphasis on strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues (PCs, printers, etc.), software applications, and network problems.
• Assist in setting up and configuring new workstations, as well as installing and updating software utilizing Microsoft Intune.
• Collaborate with your IT team to escalate complex issues and contribute to long-term IT projects.
• Maintain documentation on IT processes, user guides, and inventory.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 products and their application in a business environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in providing in-person Technical Support.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to take on challenges in a dynamic work environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
