Job Description:
The IT Technical Support Specialist will act as the point of contact for company employees who are reporting issues, requesting information, access, or equipment. This candidate will provide outstanding customer service in a variety of ways including face-to-face, digital, self-service, and automation. This IT Specialist position is an integral part of our company and will assist us in continuing to reach out goals.
IT Support Specialist Specialist - Contract
Responsibilities:
- Manage Active Directory & Group Policy through account creation and permission access
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues at a high level
- Manage Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and an off site Microsoft Azure environment
- Monitor, maintain, and upgrade the network infrastructure including switches, routers, an firewalls
- Provide quick and efficient resolutions to issues as they arise through the ticketing system, email, phone, and in person requests
- Work comfortably in an individual contributor role
IT Technical Support Specialist - Contract
Requirements:
- In-Depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
- In-depth knowledge of general networking concepts including DHCP, DNS, Etc
- Knowledgeable of Windows Servers, can troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise
- 2+ years of experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and O365
- Understanding of file share permissions and has strong documentation skills
- Strong root cause troubleshooting skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and can assist non-technical employees with issues
IT Technical Support Specialist - Contract
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or greater in computer technology preferred
- 2-5 years of professional experience in a hands-on technical position
- Willing to come onsite 5 days a week/im person
