Role: Technical Project Manager
Location: NYC/ Remote with some travel
Job Type: Contract
The Technical Project Manager is part of a team of professionals responsible for the continuous innovation and improvement of services by analyzing current business processes and considering goals and roadmaps to provide recommendations for improvement. Will be responsible for the continuous improvement and development of business process analysis standards and best practices.
The successful candidate has excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with a wide range of constituents ranging from campus leadership to front-line staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and educators, to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Collaborated with key stakeholders as a Project Manager to define project scope, schedule, budget, strategy, and outcomes, identify critical resource expertise
- Assess and document current business processes, systems, and workflows, and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications, to effectively communicate requirements to development teams.
- Work closely with the development team to provide guidance and clarification on business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and track project progress, identify risks and issues, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in the EdTech industry, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within our products and services.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 13 years of experience required.
- Must have experience in handling large-scale and end-to-end implementation projects.
- Develop and maintain documentation to capture business process analysis best practices and standards, and track business process changes.
- Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using requirement management tools and project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Technologies: MS Visio, MS Project, .Net, Application development
Nice to have:
- Experience with the EdTech industry/Educational Products/Educational Domain
- Experience in Digital Transformation projects.
