Responsibilities
Drive projects from inception to delivery, focusing on budget, timelines, and quality goals
Utilize SAFe or similar agile project methodologies to manage software development life cycles effectively
Identify, analyze, mitigate, and proactively respond to project, financial, and operational risks
Implement processes that enhance collaboration among distributed team members, ensuring objective-driven outcomes
Leverage existing tools or introduce new ones to ensure efficient project execution and team collaboration
Manage vendor relationships, including negotiations, selections, and maintenance agreements
Develop a high-performing team, managing both full-time employees and vendors strategically
Apply strong analytical skills for problem resolution and multitasking

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience managing Technical Projects and leading development teams
Experience in SAFe or similar agile project methodology
Demonstrated ability to drive projects from inception through to delivery, managing budget, timelines, and quality
Experience with vendor management, including contract negotiations and new vendor selection processes
Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
Extremely detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Proficiency in simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, ensuring clear and accessible communication
Ability to work on-site 3-5 days per week in our Grand Rapids office
Preferred
Certification in SAFe or similar agile project methodology
Familiarity with continuous improvement programs to drive project enhancements
Experience with global delivery management and international team coordination
Experience in the freight/logistics industry is highly desirable, providing insight into industry specific challenges and opportunities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
