Dominion VUE, a division of Dominion Enterprises, is looking for a full-time TechnicalProject Manager with agile experience and whose main function will be to drive data conversion projects from our legacy DMS (Dealer Management system) and competitors to our new DMS Dominion VUE. Responsibilities of the position will include facilitating team organization and ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrums/stand-ups, sprint/iteration reviews/demos, retrospectives.
As part of the DMS team, you have a unique opportunity to join an exciting, dynamic and closely-interactive group of people, whose focus is to power the tools that run car dealerships and integrate with many service providers and OEMs. This position is responsible for helping our Data integration team work the several projects that facilitate migrations from competitive conversions as well as other internal projects data related.
This is a fully remote position and open to applicants within the continental United States. Residence within the eastern time zone is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all project communication, including project status reporting and organizing project meetings and documents discussion and action items
- Identifies resources needed and works with Functional Managers to assign tasks and responsibilities
- Manages the development of projects, implementation, and evaluation of projects in order to ensure completion of project as efficiently and effectively as possible within stated timeframes and budget
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent is preferred (not required).
- Prior experience with Azure DevOps.
- Facilitate team organization and ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrums/stand-ups, sprint/iteration reviews/demos, retrospectives.
- Prior experience working with automotive industry and data teams is preferred.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5+ years Technical Project management experience
- 2+ years managing Technical Projects that involve cross functional teams including software developers
This role offers a compensation of approximately $82,000 - $94,000 annually.
