Job Overview:

The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap, overseeing the development process, and ensuring that our software products meet the needs of our customers in the transportation industry. This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of software development, project management and customer needs.

 

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the development process and ensure that our software products are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards.

· Work closely with the development team to ensure that user stories and product requirements are clearly defined and understood.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product releases are well-coordinated and meet the needs of our customers.

· Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product strategy and prioritize feature development.

· Create and maintain product documentation, including product requirements, user guides and release notes.

· Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure that product releases meet customer needs and expectations.

· Lead a dynamic and multi-functional team to create a vision, develop and enhance products on a day-to-day basis.

· Translate business strategies into products requirements that capture customer needs and address pain-points.

· Analyze and understand complex business, policy and engineering challenges, identify ways to improve products, services and operations.

· Serve as a primary representative for project teams and internal stakeholders, articulate data analytics to drive value to business partners.

· Consider various business and engineering factors like cost, risk, feasibility and end user experience to deliver products and solutions for the organization.

· Work with customer, users and contractors to gather, understand and document business, functional, technical and non-technical requirements.

· Conduct “Product Analysis” sessions, work group calls and engage customers to provide requirements and feedback.

· Provide clear qualitative and quantitative information to teams and stakeholders.

· Working with multiple teams in building large and complex products using small & incremental delivery

· Delivering incremental working software with end-to-end user experience in collaboration with the product team and stakeholders.

· Understanding and interpreting complex data and business processes to modernize legacy systems to improve the user experience.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field; advanced degree preferred.

· Preferred, but not required, 1-2 years of experience in technical product management in the transportation industry or related field.

· Proven track record of successful product launches and customer satisfaction

· Deep understanding of agile development methodologies and project management principles

· Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers and QA engineers.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions.
