Northrop Grumman is actively seeking a Technical Services Project Manager to provide junior to mid-level program management support to a rapidly expanding team in support of a very active Government support program. Must possess a complete understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field. Must be able to provide technical & programmatic solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Must be able to work under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Must be able to directly contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources. Must possess communication skills required to have frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
Additional responsibilities may include organizing and leading a multi-discipline team in support of multiple programs and projects. Leading and directing one or more project teams in the professional services arena. Preparing project execution plans and monitoring project completion from initiation through delivery to meet mission objectives. Utilize management skills to monitor performance of projects while providing technical and analytical guidance to project teams.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Level:

  • 5 Years of experience with Bachelors Degree; 3 Years of experience a with Masters Degree, 0 years of experience with PHD; An additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree
  • Relevant experience/education in DoD program execution disciplines including requirements analysis, contract / IDIQ fundamental understanding to include mandatory documents such as contract / task order modifications, contract deliverables (CDRLs)
  • Relevant background related to working with budget and POM development, logistics planning, scheduling, engineering, etc. is required.
  • Candidate must have or be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a DoD 8570 Certification (AT Level I/II)
  • Work related to DoD Cyber efforts
  • Basic understanding of DoD Joint Warfare structure

Salary Range: $90,400.00 - $135,600.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
