With two major professional teams, Orlando City and Orlando Pride, the Orlando City Soccer Club (OCSC) has established itself as one of the preeminent Clubs in professional soccer.
Orlando City joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the league's 21st franchise in November 2013, becoming the first MLS team in the Southeast. The Lions began league play in March 2015. In 2019, Orlando City re-launched Orlando City B (OCB) to bridge the gap between its successful youth development academy and the First Team.
The Orlando Pride, OCSC's National Women's Soccer League franchise, began play in 2016 - bringing professional women's soccer to Orlando for the first time.
Orlando City and Orlando Pride play at Exploria Stadium, a 25,500-seat soccer-specific stadium built in 2017 and located in the heart of Downtown Orlando.

Title: OCB Strength & Conditioning Coach

WHAT SETS YOU APART
You are a highly organized Strength and Condition Coach. The OCB Strength & Conditioning Coach will be responsible for the development, delivery, and monitoring of S&C training programs for Orlando City B. You will focus on speed, strength and recovery protocols and are data proficient.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery of strength and power training, speed, agility and movement sessions, and pre-generation/regeneration
in one-to-one, small group and large group sessions.
Formal communication with coaching, medical and academy staff.
Development and implementation of S&C training programs for OCB athletes with conceptual knowledge of
strength and power, speed, agility, mobility, recovery, and pre-training sessions.
Ability to work within an Athlete Development Model to understand the developmental progressions of which
training should be appropriate for the safety and development of younger athletes.
Work alongside Head of Sport Science to build OCB Dashboards
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

- CSCS (NSCA), PES (NASM) & CPR certified
- Bachelor's Degree in S&C, Sports Science or Applied Kinesiology.
- Master's Degree in a related field preferred
- Bilingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese), highly preferred
- Effective academic and applied knowledge of contemporary practice in performance training /strength/rehabilitation /psychology.
- Experience working with junior athletes.
- Experience in speed and movement training.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Canva
- 2 years of previous soccer experience preferred.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends.
