ABOUT THE ROLE
The Talent Acquisition Analyst is passionate about finding the best talent in the market! This position understands that attracting and retaining new talent is critical in operational success. The Talent Acquisition Analyst enjoys networking with others, and offers an exceptional customer experience with candidates, hiring managers and team members.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs the day-to-day activities for Talent Acquisition programs, projects and/or special assignments. Recommends and implements changes in procedures to facilitate effectiveness.
- Uses the Applicant Tracking System to perform all aspects of the recruitment process.
- Assists with placing job advertisements as well as drafting creative verbiage for all job requisitions, specifically hard-to-fill positions.
- Reviews applicants' credentials to determine qualification status for posted vacancies.
- Reviews and tracks advertising monthly invoices and fiscal year budget.
- Analyzes recruiting sources and the success of job requisition placement.
- Attends Talent Acquisition related seminars and researches industry updates to stay current on trends.
- Maintains confidentiality and appropriately handles sensitive issues.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for a candidate with an innovative and creative mindset to add value to the PTC’s recruitment process and overall candidate experience. A candidate that is detail-oriented with strong organization skills will be successful in this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Seven (7) years of experience in human resources. OR
- Three (3) years of experience in human resources AND a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field. OR
- One (1) year as a Human Resources Associate, Administrative Officer, or Executive Administrative Assistant in the Human Resources Department with the PTC.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in applicable Microsoft programs. A skills assessment may be required prior to interviewing for this position.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license. Must obtain and maintain a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license within six (6) months of employment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Position demands include frequent speaking, writing, and reading reports. Position requires frequent work at a computer utilizing business programs and PTC specific operating systems. Position may require occasional travel and/or fieldwork with exposure to roadway traffic. May occasionally work outside of normal business hours for assigned work assignments.
Office environment with low levels of noise, adequate lighting, and comfortable temperature. Field environment may include exposure to moderately adverse and undesirable conditions. Physical environment is generally safe, but safety equipment or precautions must be followed in field conditions.
