Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Systems Administrator to join our dental team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's computer systems and networks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing technical support to our employees.
Duties:
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware components
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain security measures
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues
- Conduct system upgrades and patch management
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for system improvements
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of system administration, including Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with firewall configuration and management
- Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL for database management
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Knowledge of JavaScript for scripting tasks
- Experience with Pegasystems or similar workflow automation platforms
