Responsibilities
Castalia Systems is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator in the Pensacola, FL area.
A Windows Systems Administrator will support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities for a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program that will design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment, including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats.
A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

• Maintain a virtual system environment in Remote/Hybrid location.
• Support User Admin, Sys Admin, Documentation, and cradle to grave SDLC support.
• Interact with developers and infrastructure support team to provide vendor application support.
• Develop SOPs that provide policies and standards for sustainment of customer systems and resources.
• Operate and maintain all Production, Pre-Production, and Development systems in a Windows environment.
• Perform system administration to include AD, GPO Policies, Patching, Application Support, and activities to include service account management, monitoring, and management of system resources (CPU, memory, disk, etc).
• Monitor and audit system logs.
• Implement and monitor the Enterprise Windows Servers testing and installation of patches, updates, additional tools, and future versions of all software on a regular basis.
• Maintain meeting compliance for Information Security Vulnerability Management (ISVMs) and Intelligence Community Vulnerability Alert (ICVAs) and provide support for DoD STIGS.
• Perform Systems Lifecycle management including planning, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, consolidation, and decommissioning of enterprise hardware, and software.
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the system is compatible with defined architecture and meets customer needs.

Qualifications
Security Clearance Requirement:
Active/current Secret clearance minimum with the ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI is required. Must also be able to obtain a DHS Suitability.
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field. 2 years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.
• 6+ years of Window system administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows server and client administration (Server 2019 and Server 2022).
• Experience building Windows Servers.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience in application of STIGs to secure Windows services and applications.
• Experience with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
• Experience conducting Backups/Restore, ePO McAfee, VMware 7.0 and higher.
• Participate in 24x7 schedules with fixed shift and possible weekend support.

Preferred Qualifications:

• DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II.
• Applicable Microsoft certifications (Examples: MCSE, MCSA).
• Familiarity SQL Server 2016.
• Experience work with ServiceNow.
• Experience with Altiris.
• Experience with SharePoint Server.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Experience working with JIRA, Tasks, Features, JIRA Align and Higher.
