Enterprise Service Management - System Administrator
Summary
Enterprise Services System Administrator is a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized professional who plays a key role in providing support for all areas of IT. They provide technical service, administration and maintenance support for our ABC locations and SSC. They are responsible for configuring, installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment in both the field and SSC and providing technical training as necessary. Responsible for day-to-day support, ticketing system flow, coordinating support/training sessions with team members and escalating issues to coworkers or leadership on an as needed basis. Assist with ongoing projects, research, and collaboration and provide support in managing technology workload across company.
Responsibilities
Proactively coordinate system upgrades and installs: Ensure stability, warranty coverage and Service Levels. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot Store Point of Sale and peripheral devices, computing hardware, printing/scanning devices, software, and other products to deliver required service levels. Provide first line assistance to internal team members experiencing challenges with desktop computing hardware/software/applications; ensure optimum functionality of software, workstations, mobile devices, accessories and printers.
Monitor and maintain networking, and telephone equipment: Monitor network performance and availability, Wi-Fi network and oversee troubleshooting for system errors and alerts. Collaborate with technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization's POS and desktop computing environment. Onsite support for network devices such as routers and switches, firewalls, racks, cabling, backup, and wireless devices.
Equipment and Preventative Maintenance: Maintain store equipment; POS and peripherals; workstations; UPS backup equipment; routers and switches: ATAs and escalate to vendor as needed (maintain ownership throughout process). Where required, administer, and resolve issues with associated workstation, network, and software products. Conduct preventive maintenance on networking equipment, electrical equipment and maintain records of all PM. Coordinate and secure removal and disposal of old technology hardware (computers, servers, laptops, projectors)
Provide systems support for escalation and remediation: Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex problems for team members, recommend and implement corrective solutions, including on-site repair as needed. Responds to complex issues and escalates advanced issues accordingly under limited/minimal direct supervision. Possesses a basic to intermediate knowledge of critical company technology solutions.
Asset Management and provisioning: Administer, and resolve issues with Store POS and peripheral devices, workstations, network, and software products. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot team member workstations, printers and POS Systems. Timely updates to AD users and groups and asset tracking/inventory counts.
Purchase Order Managements: Obtain quotes, create Purchase orders, validate shipment, verify invoice matches the Quote and Purchase order. Update PO/Invoice Details and track asset. Identify, evaluate, recommend next generation hardware for ABC. Manage after hours emergency support.
Job Requirements
Minimum Experience, Skills, and Education

  • High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferred
  • Meraki Dashboard Training; xStore Training and other related IT professional certification; meet all state-required licensure/certification.
  • Previous experience as a help desk technician, computer technician, or IT support
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve multiple issues
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable in a diverse and fast-paced environment
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Experience working with network and server management support
  • Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, and upgrades
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment
  • Must have clean Florida State Drivers License for travel throughout the state
  • About 20-30% travel required to ensure responsibilities are handled timely at all stores
  • Mandatory after hour support October, November, and December
  • Each year PTO blackout October 1st thru January 1st

Physical Requirements
With or Without Accommodations
  • May sit or stand at a workstation for up to 8 hours to operate printing equipment and office equipment
  • Routinely handles paperwork, materials, collateral and other printing supplies and deliverables
  • Occasionally need to lift and/or transport up to 50 pounds of boxes, printed materials or various items short distances, to and from the normal workstation.
  • Occasionally needs to move, position, and/or rotate themselves in a way to access items and/or objects on shelves and counters in harder to reach areas and/or below waist level or above shoulder level.
  • Occasionally needs to stand or walk short distances to areas that are not immediately accessible from the workstation, such as the fax machine, printers, or mailroom.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision (at 20 inches or less), distance vision (at 20 feet or more), color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
  • The work environment is a typical climate-controlled office, warehouse, and store environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
