Form of workVCA Chatoak Animal Hospital is seeking a full/part-time Experienced Veterinary Assistant / Registered Vet Technician to join the team at our AAHA accredited, full-service hospital in Granada Hills, CA.
Compensation: $ 22.00 - $ 25.00 / hr, dependent on experience, credentials
Schedule: Three days a week / Friday-Sunday. Shift is from 4pm to 12am &
1or 2 days a week from 9am to 6pm.

- Physical examinations and patient assessment
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Laboratory work
- Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, IV fluid therapy
- Catheter placement
- Pharmacy
- Patient recovery
- Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals
- All aspects of patient care
- Animal handling and restraint
- IM, IV,SQ injections
- Dental cleanings/dental radiography
- Digital radiography
- Nursing care/hospitalization treatments
- Client communication
