Bellingham Marine is seeking a Project Development Coordinator for its Southwest Division located in Dixon, CA.

You will help us maintain our sales program, be a regular and consistent communication portal for our customers, assist us with pricing and quoting work, maintain records, attend trade shows and other important events. This position requires occasional overnight travel. Our successful candidate will be an outgoing person accustomed to working in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists with maintaining a sales program within the territory based on customer needs and the Company's desires;
- Assists with planning, design services and permitting on potential projects with Project Development Team;
- Assists and prepares proposal letters and applicable sales contracts for orders obtained. This may involve preparing bids for government entities;
- Assists in securing and renewing orders and may coordinate delivery dates with production and perform other duties incidental to selling activities;
- Maintains current files on the progress of each sales prospect;
- Refers complaints to proper departments within the Company;
- Assists in compiling contract documents including processing and proofreading multiple drafts generated during negotiations;
- Assists in identifying and compiling federal and state reporting requirements;
- Assists Contracts Administrator or Project Manager with drafting, coordinating and tracking notices in compliance with the contract documents (i.e., delays and changed conditions);
- Upholds the Company policies and processes regarding contract management and use;
- Assists Contracts Administrator with the systematic transfer of documents to corporate staff for accounting and management purposes;
- Assists in invoicing of projects and collection of past due accounts;
- Establishes and maintains contact with Project Manager and contractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract award process;
- Prepares sales proposals in accordance with BMI policies and procedures;
- Collect contracts and create draft JIS for Corporate approval;
- Completes job close-out documents and issue to customer;
- Archives completed records;
- Updates marketing job list monthly.
Compensation:
BMI offers a competitive wage and benefits package; salary range $66,000 - $70,000 dependent upon experience. Employee may receive Incentive Bonus Pay based on eligibility requirements.
